30 Years of Corris – Three Decades of Face-to-Face Fundraising in Switzerland
For 30 years, we have been engaging in personal dialogue for a better world. What began on doorsteps in 1995 is now a well-established fundraising method that creates lasting connections between donors and organisations.
A look back at the beginnings
In 1995, we carried out the very first face-to-face fundraising campaign in Switzerland. This made us the first agency in the country to offer direct dialogue as a new fundraising method. It all started on people’s doorsteps, with the aim of personally inspiring them to support important social causes.
The first steps of a new fundraising method
Our first client was the Swiss Red Cross, which commissioned a door-to-door campaign. Just one year later, the first information stand campaign followed on behalf of Greenpeace. More organisations joined, and only two years later we were already able to open an office in Western Switzerland. Direct engagement and face-to-face exchanges with passers-by proved effective and became a permanent part of the Swiss fundraising landscape.
Much has changed, and much has remained

In 2025, we can proudly look back on 30 years of Corris. Three decades in a turbulent, constantly evolving and innovation-driven industry mark an important milestone, which we celebrated at the end of August with a wonderful anniversary event.
We hope you enjoy watching the video. And to all our guests from near and far: thank you for coming, for the inspiring collaboration, and for your commitment to people, animals and the environment.
